Photography : Tips For Better Pictures

Some people think that great picture requires an expensive camera, but good technique is more important than expensive equipment. If you are unhappy with the quality of your photos, then you might have to look at some of the basics and make sure that you are using your camera as effectively as possible.

Here are a few tips and tricks to take a better picture.

Move In Closer

Each time you spot a subject, snap a shot and then move in closer for a better shot. Having your subject almost fill the frame helps your viewer understand and appreciate your photo.

Also, details are often more interesting than an overall view.
Keep moving in closer until you are sure the photo will successfully represent your subject.

The subject is too far away.

Perfect! When you move in closer!

Focus On Your Subject

Practice shooting with different apertures (a space through which light passes in an optical or photographic instrument, especially the variable opening by which light enters a camera) and monitor the results afterwards to learn how depth-of-field affects your photo.

You will find that a smaller depth-of-field focuses all the attention upon your subject. This is great for taking a picture of your cat, your friend, or your crush - subjects stand out against a blurry background.

Likewise, you will find that a greater depth-of-field will make everything from here to eternity appear in focus. This will help make those landscapes fascinating and lovely.

You will also want to become familiar with the way your camera focuses. If it is a simple point and shoot camera, you will likely indicate which part of the picture to focus on by following these steps:
  1. Aim so the object you want in sharp focus is in the center of the viewfinder.
  2. Press the shutter button down half-way and hold it.
  3. Move your camera until you have the composition you like best.
  4. Press the button down the rest of the way to take the picture.

Be Quick

If it is at all possible that your subject may move, bolt, fly away, stop smiling, or just get tired of waiting for you to take the picture, shoot once right away.

Practice getting quicker and quicker to the draw.

Do not worry about taking too many pictures and do not wait until you're absolutely certain all the knobs and buttons are in their correct position.

As the motto of one of BetterPhoto old t-shirts states, "Shoot First, Ask Questions Later."

There you have it - basic but helpful, I hope. Now go out there, make some great shots, learn from the failures, and have fun.

May Your Photographic Path Be A Prosperous and Gratifying Adventure!

Umrah & Ziarah

Kan? So, bersyukur.

Kalau dimurahkan rezeki, InsyaAllah kita kembali lagi ye.

Trip To Korea - Part II

Hi again readers! Ha.

Macam bungalow. Terpana ku sebentar (AHAHAH).  So Kak Ina masuk lobby jumpa house owner utk check-in.

Selepas selesai check-in couplenya yang lelaki bawa kami ke suatu bangunan. Ha situ baru bilik kami. Macam bangunan rumah kedai je. Nothing extraordinary lah kan? What do you expect from a guest house anw? The guy lead the way, And reach infront of a door and he inserted the door-lock pin ( ha kauu! Guest house je pun! Guna digital door-lock tau! Jangan main-main. Kat Malaysia hada?)

Nothing special. Its just me taking photo of me shoes and i don't know what we call that thing.

Dia jemput kami masuk. Whoa. Fully-furnished ala-ala drama Korea la! 4 double decker bed, a dining area, a kitchen (siap peti ais, stove, cooking utensils , sebuku roti, a dozen of eggs, plate , choptick, etc) LENGKAP! Siap bagitahu lagi, kalau telur and roti habis boleh contact dia, dia akan hantar yg baru. Kalah hotel kau! Selesai dia taklimat serba sedikit pasal bilik, he excuse himself. Kami pom unpacking lah walaupon hati berat sebab terlampau penat. Lepas unpack Sume lena dibuai mimpi.

Sedar-sedar dah pukul 7 malam. Makcik-makcik dah prepare untuk siapkan dinner maggi melayu asli. Tapi kami youngsterz berjiwa Korea nekad untuk jalan-jalan sekitar Myeongong (bandar remaja) And cadang untuk beli dinner ala-ala Korea. So, saya, my sister, Kak Ina and mama keluar utk menikmatikan keindahan malam di Korea. Eh! Dan Dan pulak malam tu cuaca Serious sejuk. 0 degree. Tapi berangin. Weyh. Beku hingus (jijik pulak).

Tony Molly, Nature Republic, Forever 21, Zara, H&M, sumelah ada! and ofcourse, our long anticipated store, SPAO. SPAO is a global clothing brand shop which collaborates with SM Entertaintment on its marketing. No wonder lah theres like thousands huge posters of EXO and Super Junior all over the store. Eii, makin tergedik-gediklah kami. Tambah-tambah lagi atas SPAO Myeongdong branch (tak silap tingkat 4) , ada SM Official Store. Maka, boleh dibuat kesimpulan, Kat sinilah, 50% duit mama & papa habis sepanjang kami di Korea. (Hohohoho). Rambang mata tengok hoodie, official albums, official goods, etc. Ish!

Ha! Nilah SM Official Store tu punya beg. Gambar kedai, tak terambil pulak. Sepanjang 4 hari kat Korea, 4 kali pergi store ni. Hohoho.

So, puas shopping, before midnight we decided to went back to our guest house. Ha. Tadi berlagak nk makan makanan Korea. Tapi dah lewat sangat. Vendors-vendors yg tepi jalan jual halal kebab pon sume dh bungkus. Dalam perjalanan balik bilik, adalah jumpa stall-stall yg jual street food. tapi of course kesuciannya diragui. Dengan berat hati, teruskan perjalanan. About a corner away from our guest house, ada Dunkin Donut. So, oleh kerana perut berkeroncong (?) minta diisi, kami pun berhentilah untuk membeli hot coffee acah-acah macam drama Korea tu.

Hoodie 'WOLF 88' dari SM Store. Retail price: 69,000 Won. Dalam RM200 duit M'sia. (Waktu nak beli tu tak terfikir pulak harga M'sianya brape T.T) I got mine in Black and my sister's in Red.

A gift from Everysing

Sampai bilik, harapn untuk disambut mesra musnah. Yang lain sume dah membungkang. Rasanya kalau berlaku perang antara Korea Utara- Korea Selatan ni pon, ramai dah jadi arwah.
Selesai sume, kami youngsterz ni pon joinlah membungkang as esok plannya untuk pergi melawat Nami Island.

Pagi-pagi? Pukul 7.45? Takkan ada tetamu pula? kak Ina pun pergi check it out siapakah gerangan mereka yg melawat di awal pagi. Buka pintu...........
Mr. Choi. Allahu. Awal pulak pakcik ni! Rupanya nilah yang orang panggil janji Jepun/Korea. Bukan setakat tepat, terlebih awal pula. Jemput dia masuk, tapi beliau menolak manja (Ecewah). Beliau prefer menghabiskan sebatang rokok di luar guest house kami dan mengeluarkan asap berkepul-kepul (sampai tak tahu beza asap rokok vs. asap haba). Tepat pukul 8 kami bertolak. Ehem. Hampeh. Janji melayu la weyh. Kalau org Korea memartabatkan budaya mereka, kenapa bukan kita? Exactly. 8.15am baru bertolak. Memalukan kaum betul. Ish Ish Ish.

But it is a long and boring journey. So, we make it short, akhirnya sampailah kami di Nami-nara. Ha! Satu by boat/ferry. And satu lagi...... Jeng! Jeng! Jeng! Flying Fox! (ehehe macam flying fox, tak tahulah pulak ai nama ia) Kiranya dari seberang pulau ni, kena naik bendalah tu, and straight sampai ke pulau tu. Mati hidup balik pun aku takkan naik bendalah tu. Eeeee. Never in a million year.

So, obviously, kami naik ferry(?).
Sampai je kat Nami Island, kami pon jalan-jalan sekitar pulau ni. Kecil je. Waktu kat Malaysia bayangkan Nami Island ni besar lah sangat. Ghupenya, hek eleh. Sejengkal je (Eh. Melampau pulak ai). Ha. Lupa nak bagitahu. Nami Island ni famous sebab pengambaran Drama Winter Sonata tu dibuat kat sinilah.

And we reached Nami-nara.

Me and my sister decided to walk together. Masing-masing tahu cara untuk mengambil kesempatan and menggunakan peluang pihak satu lagi menjadi cameraman (AHAHA). Jalan dua tapak, selfie. jalan dua langkah, selfie. Eh! Youngsterz kan? HAHAHAHA
Setelah dah bosan kat Nami Island masing-masing pun bercadang untuk balik guest house. Rehat. Letih. Penat. Happy.

And kalau nak main salji jugak, terpaksa pergi ke Ski Resort or kawasan pergunungan.

Sambung alkisah di entry yang baru ya? Terima kasih kerana sudi membaca.

Trip To Korea - Part I

Ha! Jeng Jeng Jeng! Seperti yang tertulis di tajuk tu, ha! Betullah tu.

I've just came back from our family trip to Korea. Ye. South Korea. Yang ramai abang-abang hensem kulit macam susu katanya ( alahai ) ataupun bak kata papa , orang-orang yang hok lelakinya perangai macam perempuan dan hok gegirlnya perangai macam budak tadika ( ye. Dia benci sungguh. Ahahah ).

Ha. Lupa nak bagitau, we are independent travellers (kalau betullah ayat tu). Kami tak guna mana-mana syarikat tour guide sepanjang berada di Korea. Sebenarnya, Takdelah 100% independent sangat, Hohoho. As my cousin, Kak Ina memang dah selalu ke Korea. Ibarat taman permainannya katanya (aisey berlagak kau. Ahahah).

A long awaited journey end.

Papa kata cuaca time tu -1 degree. Mana tak menusuknya. Biasa oxygen yg aku hirup dalam 24 degree je. Ni dah  melampau. Tapi, life must go on. Lebih kurang 1 jam kami berjalan-jalan sekitar Airport. Usha pramugara pramugari yang cun lagi bergaya. Ha. Dekat Airport juga ai minta mama carikan transportation card (tak ingat sebenarnya nama kad tu). Tapi kad ni digunakan untuk bayar transportation (subway, bus, taxi, train, etc) ataupon shopping (kalau banyaklah duit dalam kad tu). Dia macam ibarat kad debit je. Nak tahu lebih lanjut, rajin-rajinlah nonton drama Korea ye?) And my mom jumpa kad tu dekat 7Eleven so kami beli 4 keping for our whole family. Beli je buat apa, kena topup card tu kalau tak macam mana nak guna. Hihihi.

Puas meng-usha, Then we headed to the Incheon KTX Station (train station) which is located next to the Incheon Airport. So, Kak Ina pon mulalah jalankan tugasnya sebagai Timbalan Tour Guide kami. Beli tiket train to Seoul. Dari Incheon ke Seoul by train ambik masa lebih kurang 1 jam, from my researchlah (acewah. Nampak tak tu. Sebulan sebelum pergi memang ai dah buat research habis-habisan pasal Korea. Mana nak pergi, kena naik apa, nak bayar guna apa. Jadi kalau nak diikutkan time tu, ai  dah layak jadi Tour Guide yg bertauliah berdasarkan ilmu yg ada di dada ini *ha, riak* ).

With my mom at Incheon KTX Station

So kat KTX station ni, dia ada 2 cara nak beli tiket. So, kami decide utk guna mesin self-service rather than ber-chingchong (ayam itik) dgn ticket manager tu. Before beli tu ai dah kabo ke Kak Ina, Better ambik train Express yg straight sampai ke Seoul tanpa ada bhenti kat mana-mana. So, nak taknak naik jelah kan? Apa beza Express dgn biasa? Express KTX sampai ke Seoul approx. 1 hour, while train biasa kalau tak silaplah, dlm 2 hours.

So, 2 hours naik train. Nothing special, train macam train kat Malaysia je kot ( ai jarang naik train kat Malaysia act). Yg tak syoknya, pengumuman station dia Sume dalam bahasa Korea and Japan. Apa? Dia fikir orang Jepun je ke yg dtg Korea? Tolonglah, ai tak minta banyak, pengumuman dalam bahasa Inggeris pon dh memadai. Tidaklah aku meminta dalam bahasa Malaysia. Nasib ai ada mix dgn Korea sikit belah nenek moyang sepupu tiri angkat ai, fahamlah jugak apa yg mereka maksudkan.

Setibanya kami di Seoul Station, WOW! Sesak! 7kali lebih sesak dari KL Sentral. Ahjumma-ahjumma (makcik-makcik Korea) kelihatan busy kehulu-kehilir dgn beg tangan MCM dan LV mereka. Golongan muda yang berpacaran mengambil kesempatan dgn memegang erat pasangan masing-masing takut dikebas dalam lautan manusia ni. Haksaeng (student) bersepah-sepah dgn uniform sekolah ala-ala anime. Rimas!

Kami cari jalan keluar. Diluar Seoul Station, kami tunggu taxi. Satu, dua, semua taxi sedan sahaja. Kami ada 9 orang. Mana mungkin nak naik kereta Samsung (aka Hyundai di Malaysia) yg hanya memuatkan 5 orang. Lepastu muncul satu taxi hitam, limo. Dia pon bahasa Inggeris berterabur. Memalukan keturunan betul. Hahaha.

Okaylah. Macam panjang sangat ni. Cerita seterusnya pasal tempat penginapan kami akan dia post di entry yg baru ye? Okay. Thanyou reader.   Enjoy reading 😘

Friendship

"Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people.Friendship is a stronger form of  interpersonal bond than an acquaintanceship."
"Although there are many forms of friendship, some of which may vary from place to place, certain characteristics are present in many types of friendship.
"Such characteristics include affection, sympathy, empathy, honesty, altruism, mutual understanding and compassion, enjoyment of each other's company, trust, and the ability to be oneself, express one's feelings, and make mistakes without fear of judgment from the friend. "
"While there is no practical limit on what types of people can form a friendship, friends tend to share common backgrounds, occupations, or interests, and have similar demographics."

So,here i am.......Talking about friendship. I know, i didn't deserve to say anything about friendship,as i am an awful friend! To all my dearest friends , THANK YOU! THANK YOU for being a GREAT FRIEND! Thanks you for being able to stay by my side till now.

I realize, not everyone can stand with my attitude. Moody me, insulting , scolding monster and other Horrible Attitude~! Even sometimes being naive and........ being over-depend with someone!

As a matter of fact, being faithful in friendship is Good. But now i realized, we cannot being too faithful even with our own friend! Its not that i wanted to accused anybody, but i've experienced it! And it is so heart-breaking.
Seeing our trusted friend betrayed us like that! Its hurt so much!

As for you guys who had never being betrayed, NEVER DO THAT TO UR FRIEND! Its WORTHLESS,PRICELESS and not even SMART! I don't get it?! What did you get by betraying others?!
Is that makes you cool? Or even makes you looks hotter?! Is that it?! Then,YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY WRONG!
AND I AM SICK OF YOU!!!!

p/s: Betraying not only breaking the heart of the victim, it also breaking the ties between Muslim's. And you know whats that mean? (if u're a Muslim) Munafiq! MUNAFIQ!

" I would rather walk with a FRIEND in the DARK, than ALONE in the LIGHT"

"FRIENDSHIP is not about whom you have KNOWN the LONGEST, it is about who CAME and NEVER LEFT YOU R SIDE"
